CEBU CITY | Navy Personnel Management Center (NPMC), in collaboration with Naval Forces Central (NFC) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NSSC), proudly took part in the oath-taking ceremony of newly licensed Professional Electronics Engineers (PECEs), Electronics and Communications Engineers (ECEs) and Electronics Technicians (ECTs) held on 11 January 2025 at the Holiday Hotel Plaza, Cebu City.
Through the valuable support of 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗢 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗝𝗢𝗖𝗢 𝗣𝗡(𝗥𝗲𝘁), Chairman of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regulatory Board for Electronics Engineers, this initiative successfully showcased the Philippine Navy's ongoing efforts to attract highly skilled professionals to contribute to the Navy’s modernization efforts and operational objectives.
During the event, participants were given a glimpse of the Navy's career opportunities and the significant roles that PECE’s, ECEs and ECTs play in advancing maritime defense and nation-building. This reflects the Navy’s steadfast commitment to inspire and recruit top-notch talents to serve with honor and excellence.

Graduates of ROTC are eligible to apply as an officer in the Philippine Navy.
The Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) is a college-based officer commissioning program designed to train individuals for leadership roles in the Philippine Navy or Marine Corps. This program integrates military training with college education, preparing students for a rewarding career as officers upon graduation.
NROTC is an excellent pathway for students aspiring to serve as Navy officers while pursuing higher education. It offers a well-structured balance of academic and military training, fostering personal and professional growth and paving the way for a fulfilling career in the Philippine Navy.
Navy Personnel Management Center (NPMC) was a Special Staff of the FOIC, PN that was eventually transformed into a Support Unit. NPMC is the overall responsible for the recruitment and career management of PN personnel.
The NPMC was transformed from a Special Staff to a Support Unit in a ceremony held on July 28, 2016 at Bonifacio Naval Station in Taguig City. The ceremony was led by then Rear Adm. Rafael G. Mariano, the Acting Flag Officer in Command of the PN during that time.
